Guess who forgot to pack extra AA batteries? Yep. Stupid move on my part. Luckily, tomorrow I go SHOPPING! Middlebury has sprung for a shuttle to take us downtown and to Target, so I can actually go and pick up some necessities while I'm here (shampoo and conditioner was also left at home, but because I was convinced they would confiscate it or burst the bottles all over my clothing. Good thing too, my luggage was brutalized on the way down.) So, AA batteries are at the very top of my list of things to get tomorrow, as well as a few of my textbooks, though those are a little easier to get by without, surprisingly enough.
But, for your viewing pleasure, I present...
Santa Fe:
No wait. That's a bug. Cool bug. Damselfly, I believe....
I'll post more pictures when I can get Blogger to work with me. Might be a little while, though.
But for now, enjoy the cool bug that landed by the koi pond.
Neat bug! And what's with your luggage and the airlines? Do they see you coming? :( At least it arrived with you this time.
ReplyDeleteI think they see my name on the tag and immediately think - for some reason - that I might have something interesting in there. Joke was on them this time! The only thing in my checked luggage was some of my clothes and (unfortunately) my jewelry making stuff. That was really the only stress for me - losing the one thing I had to do with my hands! But I knew they'd take my expensive pliers, so I had to pack them all away... Luckily, they all arrived and now I get to settle in and make some nice chainmail jewelry!
ReplyDeleteAnd thanks for the comment on the bug - I told Jorja it was for her.
