Photos

I have decided to add a bunch of photos to this one, because it wouldn't let me earlier. Below here is a gorgeous shot just outside my dorm:

The skies here are so beautifully dynamic, it's hard not to enjoy them! It's also surprisingly green from down below compared to up in the sky! I really like it. Everything kind of has a sage-y blue/green color to it. Oh yeah. So poetic today. Oy. Normally I would wax philosophic on it with something like:

The robin-egg gem of a sky
Smiles down upon the sage,
Broken only by a Martian red floor
and the occasional human inhabitant.

Yeah. Not my best work, but darn it! I'm at least feeling creative in the photo sense. So, here are more photos!

Remember that koi pond I mentioned? Well, here's a nice little shot of a few of the koi and the waterfall behind. I love this place. It's so quite and inspirational... When there isn't a bunch of construction happening behind it, like there was today.

Anyway, I think that's it for right now. Like I said, I didn't get many before my silly camera decided it needed a break. Off to go get batteries!

  1. Pretty--that waterfall would be like a cool oasis in the visual sense. And be very glad you're up at such an elevation. Thinner atmosphere makes for a bit of huffing and puffing, but also for cooler temps. Looks lovely.

  2. That is one thing I'm definitely grateful for - the temps have been absolutely perfect. I think today topped in at 81 with a nice breeze. Ahh, no wonder I can't stay indoors!
